The Archdiocese of Birmingham - The Parish of the Immaculate Conception

Disabled Access

With the exception of  the sanctuary itself, the remainder of the remainder of the church building is accessible for those visitors who find stairs difficult – there is a ramp to the left of the main doors. Sadly, the church toilet is not disabled friendly but there are purpose built disabled toilets on both floors of The John Paul II Centre – the upstairs one is accessible via a lift. Please speak to one of the Welcomers or Ushers who will direct you.

If you feel that you may have difficulty in coming up to receive Holy Communion you are requested to sit on either of the front pews which are normally reserved for aged, frail or infirm parishioners. Please let one of the Welcomers or Ushers know that you would like to receive Holy Communion so that the clergy, Master of Ceremonies and Extraordinary Ministers know and you are not overlooked.

If you feel that you need assistance in getting to one of the Sunday Masses, please let the Parish Office know to see if transport can be arranged.
