Fr. Thomas Foynes during a Corpus Christi Procession - the monstrance with the Blessed Sacrament held by a priest wearing a cope and humeral veil and escorted by an attendant carrying a lit candle is just obscured by the elbow of the gentleman in the suit on the right of the picture. This photograph illustrates well the two styles of chasuble worn by Catholic clergy. Fr. Foynes wears the fuller gothic style, the priest behind him is wearing the Roman style.
Thank you to Jean McIntosh for the loan of the photograph.
